Battery packs often fail because one or two cells become weak. In conventional spot-welded packs, that means replacing the entire pack. Maki changes that: our force-fit system enables quick single-cell replacement, so you only replace what’s actually done (patented).

MAKI is the world’s first manufacturer of high-performance battery packs with replaceable cells — designed for fast charging, easy repair, and lower total cost of ownership.

MAKI replaces spot welding with force-fit contacts, allowing individual cells to be replaced instead of the entire battery pack, significantly extending its lifetime (patented).

Each cell is directly connected to the cooling plate, enabling efficient heat dissipation and charging times under one hour, even with passively cooled battery packs.

MAKI’s smart Battery Management System continuously monitors each cell and detects events such as cell degradation, water ingress, opening, or mechanical impact.

Housing, electronics and software are designed with flexibility in mind. Almost any shape and capacity can be customized with low initial costs and effort.
