PostHog
We use PostHog (PostHog Inc., data processed in the EU) to analyze how the website is used, for example which pages are visited and where errors occur. Page views, clicks and technical errors are recorded and sessions may be recorded with all form inputs masked. PostHog loads only after you consent to statistics. Its cookies and local storage belong to maki-batteries.com and the pack configurator (custom.maki-batteries.com) and are not shared with other websites.

Embedded video (YouTube)
The home page embeds a video from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited). The video is blocked until you consent to media and marketing cookies. Only then your browser connects to YouTube and Google may process your data, also in the USA. The basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent), revocable at any time via "Cookies" in the footer.
Investment button (tokenize.it)
The Invest page offers an investment button provided by tokenize.it. It does not load when you open the page. Only when you click "Invest now" your browser connects to tokenize.it (cdn-investnow.tokenize.it) and its service provider (app.beel.com) to load and run the button. Your IP address and technical data are transmitted, and the provider stores entries in your browser's session storage (see the cookie list below). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps at your request before a possible investment) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. What the provider does with data you enter in its dialog is described in its own privacy notice.
5. Cookie consent and cookie declaration

Apart from storage that is strictly necessary, we set cookies and similar technologies only with your consent (Section 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You decide in our cookie banner. Our own consent tool runs on this website without an external provider. Your choice is saved in the cookie "maki_consent" for 12 months. The cookie applies to maki-batteries.com and to our pack configurator at custom.maki-batteries.com, so you are asked only once for both. It is not shared with other websites.
As proof of your decision we record a random consent ID, your choices, the time, the version of the banner and the page on which you decided. This record contains no name and no IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR together with Art. 7 (1) GDPR. You can change or revoke your choice at any time via "Cookies" in the footer.
